Amoretto Fountain

Here for you a new fountain to beautify your plazas, old town squares, parks, market places or gardens ... enjoy it.

Amoretto, also known as "Putto" or "Putti" that is the plural from Italian. Amoretto is a figure in a work of art depicted as a chubby male child, usually naked and sometimes winged. Originally limited to profane passions in symbolism, the putto came to represent the sacred cherub and in Baroque art the putto came to represent the omnipresence of God. A putto representing a cupid is also called an amorino (plural amorini) or amoretto (plural amoretti). Putti are a classical and renaissance motifs found primarily on child sarcophagi of the 2nd century, where they are depicted fighting, dancing, participating in bacchic rites, playing sports ... Most Renaissance putti are essentially decorative and they ornament both religious and secular works, without usually taking any actual part in the events depicted in narrative paintings.

The original Putto brunnen, is an ornamental fountain in the inner courtyard of the Lindenhof in Vienna-Währing, by Fritz Zerritsch (1865-1938) that was an Austrian sculptor, in the year 1925. The statue is made in green bronze and the base is in grey granite.

I optimized as usual the statue to lower the amount of tris for a reasonable size to make it easy for the game. I totally modeled the base and the bassin.
