A 1 AD start date sounds incredibly ambitious, so I wouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon. The same goes for anything between 1500 and 1700—there aren’t really any mods that feature musket gameplay yet, so that would have to be built from scratch. Considering how long ATE took, it’s probably a long way off.
how about a somewhat historical timeline, according to history:
year = 0 - Standard (although I wonder if minus is also possible?)
year = 500 # 900 - Early Middle Ages (or Antiquity, as they say)
year = 1050 # High Middle Ages
year = 1250 # 1200 - Late Middle Ages
year = 1500 # 1340 - Renaissance - extra mod need
year = 1700 - Baroque - extra mod need
This may require a change to the end date.
Make sure to validate your game files. Reinstall the mod. Reinstall the game.
This mod works.
I use it with the 769 start. But indeed you could start in 1066 and use it to enter the late medieval era earlier.
