The Epsilon System Bountyhunters Guild presents: The Headhunt System! Make a Kill worth your while and your Death even more painfull!

This Mod adds many death-related Features (which can be configures via configs):
- Death anouncements in Chat
- Deathfees
- Automated faction war bounties
- Automated PvP bounties
- Personal bounties
- Duels with wagers
- Per Player Kill / Death Counter
- Per Player Kill / Death Log
- Various Rankings like total Kills, total Deaths, best K/D ratio, highest bounties and so on
- Support for any language (XML Translation File)

Is it possible to add translation of death messages into another language? For some reason nothing happens for me when I change anything in a lang. file

Hi Sadragos,

Thanks for making this wonderful mod. I've been using it on our server for a month or so and it's been a blast. We noticed that the individual bounties only seem to stay in place in the server in which it was placed on the person. Is there any way to make it sync across servers?

Hmm now that you mention it... I could scan every spawned NPC Grid for size and only store interesting blocks (remote, cockpits, programmable and turrets for example) and give bounties for each of these blocks. This would lead to bounties for the blocks and not the ship but I guess that would be close enough and not nearly as expensive on the serverside. I'd only have to track a few blocks instead of every terminal block.

Still it would take some time and thinking to get it working. I might add it later, but can't promise a date yet...

thank you, just knowing it is possible is a plus. Do you think it would be as server intensive if you limited it to like a remote control block? kill that and you get the bounty? of course that would kind of make it so size of the ship would probably be irrelevent, unless you could apply different bounty to large and small grid RC blocks

@Wigwambam That is theoretically possible (if we pretend that ship is killed if all terminal blocks are destroyed) but it would be a) a pain to get it working properly and b) be pretty intensive on the server, because we'd have to track every (terminal-) block once it is palced to track which ship it belongs to initially... I'd rather not add that to this mod to be honest.

do you think it is possible to apply this mod to an MES mod like reavers so players get paid for killing enemy npc ships?

@WARHEAD please check out the config... You can disable everything else there.
