Infiltrator (v.82)

描述
This mod adds the Infiltrator, a new, playable class made of custom skills with a unique playstyle. The Infiltrator is a melee skirmisher. Staying in a fight for too long quickly wears them down and so their abilities allow them to quickly and safely dispatch single enemies.

The Infiltrator has one skill tree with 5 active and 3 passive skills. All skills are available from Level 1. One more skill is planned to allow players to use up all of their skill points at max level.

The Infiltrator Charge Bar is a depleting resource representing a limited source of energy. At 0 charge the Infiltrator receives a bonus 25% to all melee damage. This decreases with more charge. A full charge bar will exhaust the Infiltrator, significantly disabling him or her for a short time. The charge bar can be emptied by use of Evasive Maneuvers.

The Infiltrator gains the 25% damage reduction to all damage types that the vanilla melee classes received (Berserker and Engineer). However, representing their preferred combat type, the Infiltrator loses 5% damage reduction each time he or she is struck in combat. The full damage reduction is restored after not being hit for 5 seconds or from the Tier 1 bonus of Evasive Maneuvers.

The Infiltrator is largely finished but still requires some balance testing.

May we be given permission to merge this class with 2 other classes? Then add that merged class into a mod class pack while giving the original authors credit?

We want to make an "Inwarder" with the "Infiltrator", "Swordsman", and "Master Sergeant".

Believe I fixed a bug that was causing TL2 to crash when zoning. If anyone experiences it, let me know.

Thanks! The outside world is bad enogh, always fighting to not be killed emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically... the last place I need no control is in my game lol! I love TL2 because of the hard work of modders making mods that gives me better control of the way I want my challenges to be.... I use other classes and use their abilities with the balance that I need to have a good satifying play time with some sense of accomplishments ;)

I have an UPMOST Respect and Appreciation for modders because I am not able to do what you guys do! THANK YOU!

I changed it, Maurice. Exhaustion now does not empty your mana. Also, Evasive Maneuvers can remove the Exhausted effect.

Well, it would still be necessary to use Evasive Maneuvers to refresh the charge bar. But instead of getting the -mana, -movespeed, -attackspeed at 100 charge, you would just have a passive -damage that wouldn't go away until you emptied it. You just wouldn't have to pay attention so much because -damage isn't as crippling as 0 mana for 5 seconds.

Thanks for the quick reply! I do love the one tree brcause too many choices for me is too confusing... I use a life bar under my toon as my prefer. vision is bad so I do not see the charge bar.. I know that the back flip spell reduces the bar by 50% but when I am fighting for my life (my toon) I am more focused at bashing melee... so any influences towards doing the opposite with the charge bar would be a big plus in my game play and my eyes ;)

Thanks again, Maurice. I'm on the fence about the exhaustion component of the Charge Bar as well. If it's onerous it can always be changed.
