EMD E8 Burlington Northern Commuter

The Burlington Northern Railway was an American Class I railroad. Combining multiple railroads most famously the Burlington Route, Great Northern, and Northern Pacific. The Burlington Northern operated until 1995 when it merged with the Santa Fe Railroad forming BNSF.

This train is styled after the Commuter trains around the Chicago area. The EMD E8s operated commuter service up until 1992. when the last of them were finally retired from service. Many were scrapped but several survived and are now stored at the Illinois Railway Museum.


Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large
