The Battleground (Survival)

描述
The Battleground - survival map that takes place near the Grand Cathedral from the Serious Sam the second encounter hd last level.

There are 3 defensive systems available :

- Laserguns - 1min cooldown
- Rocket Launchers - 1min 30sec cooldown
- Plasma Launchers - 2min cooldown

You will have to face lots of mental minions such as kleers,kamikazes,zorgs,reptiloids,demons,lava golems,werebulls,biomechanoids and bosses.

Sometimes there will spawn some new healths,armors,powerups and weapons.

Note : You Need Legend of the beast DLC to play this map !

Medals :

Single Player survival / Cooperation survival:

Brown - 00:10:00
Silver - 00:15:00
Gold - 00:20:00

I don't know why a survival mode set in this area wasn't already included in the game! It seems so obvious!
Feels exactly like the actual part of the campaign it's based on!

I managed to survive for 17:00 minutes on my second try and died just after a certain boss spawned in the distance (no spoilers here).
But now I can barely reach 5 minutes anymore.

+Well balanced weapon/enemy spawnrate
+Item and trap cooldowns not too short/long
+Very challenging and rewarding map
+Enemy escalation and bosses break up and add variation to the endless slaughter
+Corridor of Death soundtrack
-Almost unplayable on solo (I have no idea how I managed 17 minutes on my own, and I can't do it again no matter how hard I try)

Fantastic map! 11/10

Or maybe we need 2 separate tags for SS. And for whole Steam of course!!! COOP PLAY and COOP CAMPAING. I am tired of buying games with Coop Play tag (whishing for whole stroryplay with my wife) - but those games have only arena stupid meat. You always need to search web for exact description about what "coop" they meant. Sorry for such many letters:)

Coop is the separate mode for single player classic campain. Nothig more for me:) I dont want to insult you or say something about map itself (dont see it and dont want). I am seeking only for real coop maps, not this endless run in circles. This is very boring imho. So, sorry again, but coop is coop. VS is just VS.Imagine how many people look for campaing coop maps - they do not need VS at all. That just tags for, i think:)

I added Cooperative tag because you can play this map with other ppl,so it's a cooperative survival map

Please do not add "Cooperative" tag to the levels that are not really cooperative. Please save time for people who seek real SS gameplay in single/coop. Thanks!

Well, the problem is that it turns out you actually do need the Legend of the Beast DLC
This was proven because I had the same problem, but then I bought the DLC and the exact same situation occured with my brother.
