City Brothel

描述
This mod adds a new building, the City Brothel. As it is sayd, prostitution is arguably the oldest profession in the world, so I thought that the players should have a way to make profit of it too.

The City Brothel grants happiness and gold.

This is my first mod ever, so it will need improvements.

@Silver: The reason this is called "the oldest profession" is this: if you consider the earliest "housewives," they were trading sex for the protection of some caveman and the right to live in his cave, basically. This was before money was even a concept. @Carolina Calling; actually, the adage goes "politics is the second oldest profession." ;-)

Why have a gold maintance cost and a gold profit?
That doesn't make sense. XD

Give it 2 happiness, culture and gold.
And maybe bonusses or penalties for having certain religions in the city? ^^

Hmmm. Definately ancient in origin. (One is only fooling oneself if one disputes this....) I'd put it in agriculture. That's when civilizations really started to having leisure time, was it not? Many civilizations/cultures have had fertility rites that went hand-in-hand with temple prositution. The Earth Mother/Godess has had many, many guises and "priestesses" that went with them. Would that make the priesthood the second oldest profession? :)

@Paradroid: Thanks! As your german version, well, I don't know how you should provide it other than publishing it on the workshop. I'm not sure even if you need my permission, if that's the case, go ahead! Just remember to give the credits where necessary.

Qedeshot = ancient canaanite "temple prostitutes". Also associated (although with some second-guessing) with the Egyptian goddess Qadesh
