Sidney Hillman memorial building

The Sidney Hillman memorial building was a built in 1949 for the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America labor union in Cleveland, named after its founder. the building was abandoned by the union in 1999 after years of membership decline.

in 2004 this building was renamed to the ''norma herr woman's center'' which ever since then helps homeless women with their problems.

while the ''amalgamated and sidney hillman memorial bldg'' letting has been removed from the building, the original creed still remains on top of the facade, saying ''in union we trust''
