Compact Vocalizer

A minimalist vocalizer with character switcher and 3rd person toggler.


There are numerous vocalizers in the workshop with plenty of voicelines, but most of them are useless and unnecessary during gameplay. So, I decided to make a vocalizer focusing on simplicity and usefulness.

Drawing from my personal gaming experience, I customized the default radical menu by replacing infrequently used lines. Additionally, I combined a radical menu with various amusing reactions for added fun. This mod also enables you to quickly go idle or switch character/3rd person. (Going idle can actually be a handy technique! )


● 2 radical menus with the most frequently used voicelines
● 1 radical menu with fun reactions
● all lines shared (except "Woah" in Reactions menu only for L4D2 characters)
● quick idling and in-game character switcher
● third person view toggler
● easy key bindings


(please make sure there's no other vocalizer)
Subscribe - Enter the game - Options - Keyboard/Mouse - Edit Keys/Buttons - (Scroll down to the bottom) Bind your keys


Go idle (Spectator view) - Press the key you bind for the character switcher - Choose the one you want to switch to - Click yes
*Please do not switch to a character that's already being controlled by another player, or a bug will occur.


Press the key you bind for the 'Reactions" menu - Choose "Third Person"
*Choose again to switch back to first person view.
