@Snoog its automatic, its like a refresh timer, I saw it up close, some of the mines vanish and others take its place.

How exactly does this work? Will EVERY sector, even empty ones start spawning asteroids? Or do you need to "seed" an empty sector with at least 1 asteroid?

Yes, it works. See my comment over in the respawn mod itself (linked above in the description to this one).

im not seeing asteroids respawning, I have this mod, the simple asteroid respawn and the asteroid respawn indicator

mod conflicts and breaks the "mine all" asteroids mod

If you are talking about the linked "Simple asteroid respawn mod":
It changes the way asteroids respawn from vanilla (respawn only when a ship enters the sector) to every 30min a small portion respawns (configurable).
This mod changes where asteroids respawn (to everywhere, contrary to mostly uninhabited sectors in vanilla)

what is the difference between this and the other mod?
