The Eas is the most used cargo wagon by MÁV Hungarian Railways, as well as the one owned in the largest number. They were purchased from abroad factories - Zielona Góra, Burgas, Caracal, Arad, Poprad. Nowadays MÁV owns and operates more than 2100 Eas railcars. It's important to note that the Eas has multiple subtypes. It can be used to transport non-weather sensitive bulk goods, wood and steel.
