Mondrian Plains

Welcome to Mondrian Plains! This map was inspired by Piet Mondrian's paintings.[en.wikipedia.org]

I used different parts of the environment to get a map that would resemble most his famous paintings. Of course I couldn't make a perfect copy, or each square would have been too big and the map too boring.
Networks, rivers, lines of trees and the coasts mark the borders between squares, the black lines. Resources, trees and hills are used as the different colours in the squares.
If you're using Hide It! or No Radioactive Deserts I highly suggest you leave the ruined effect of water on, I used this effect to make beaches across most of the map, instead of sand.
In the screenshots I used the Relight Average LUT, but the vanilla European looks good too.
