A pack with improvements and revisions to Imperator that I feel should have been included, addressed, or just generally improving the game experience as well as anything that has simply been overlooked.

If you would like your mod adding to this pack, feel free to message me and I will include your mod and give you appropriate credit. Bear in mind, I'm ideally looking for historical mods that are small or medium sized in nature to help gather various mods in a single place.

All changes can be found at the following link:-
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wg9iPsWzij5rj1iANT1JZ5TorswR8cZT-UIQZjZjFIA/

MAIN FEATURES:-
Extended Timeline
- End date set at 827 AUC // 73 AD

Revised Mechanics
- Addresses some of the inconsistencies and general lack of ability to expand properly as Rome without incurring unhappiness or rebellion
- Stability has been readdressed and how it is no longer affected by Aggressive Expansion

1-Year Terms for Aristocratic Republics
- The yearly terms for Aristocratic Republics has been implemented to give a more realistic feel to constantly shifting power plays within Rome, Carthage and other Italic states that start with this government type
- The Roman Election laws for increasing the election term has been adjusted to account for the yearly terms
- On yearly elections, parties who win an election for either the Ruler or the Co-Ruler in a Republic now gain a large approval boost to compensate for the Senate instability

Historical Characters
- Vanilla characters like Hannibal, Hamilcar, Marius have new and improved high stats to reflect their historical abilities
- New historical characters include: Scipio, the Gracchus brothers, Sulla, Caesar, Pompey, Crassus, Cicero, Marc Antony, Brutus, Lepidus, Octavian and Agrippa
- The family tree of these characters has been intertwined through the long event chain that spawns them and leads to the rise of the Empire after Marius appears

The Road to Empire
- After the Marius event, a series of events beginning with Sulla's march on Rome will lead Rome down the possible path of Caesar also marching on Rome, starting a long event chain that can lead to the rise of Augustus and the Roman Empire through means reflective on historical basis
- Caesar can march on Rome as long as he is alive after at least 45 years old among other factors, such as rivalled to the Consul(s), Crassus is dead and Pompey is Consul, has less than 50 loyalty, the Populares have less than 50 support in the Senate, or, excluding those, is 50 years old

If there are any bugs/problems you find with this mod, feel free to say so, and all suggestions are welcome. Have fun!

Ooiue thank you very much for the response. I'm on my second playthrough with this mod and I think it is a must have for Roman campaigns.

malbanese407 When Caesar takes power, it remains a republic but he has special Dictator status, but not the government, so you'd keep your Republic laws during that period. The government only comes into play when Octavian comes to power, which automatically switches it towards the Monarchy Laws, so things would be converted over then. As for a new government type, it's certainly possible, but I felt that it was unnecessary

Hello I love this mod! I just wanted to ask: when Caesar or Octavian eventually seize power, does the empire maintain its republic laws, the Senate and its offices as happened historically or does the transitioning from republic to monarchy happen like in vanilla (I mean that you become a monarchy like all others which is historically inaccurate). If not, do you plan in the future to create a new government type to better reflect the early stages of the Roman Empire? It would be amazing

Makes sense, but don't be afraid to do your own thing because there will almost always be people who prefer your version.

You would probably do better in some areas, and worse in others.

Tofik I thought about it a long time ago, but then Invictus made much better content than I could, I'll probably just keep this focussed on Rome
Пупок 2023 年 6 月 13 日 下午 12:29
So, do you plan to made all this stuff for greek, diadochi, eastern fractions as well? Would be cool
Ooiue  [作者] 2023 年 6 月 13 日 上午 10:23
Tofik Correct, most of the flavour you'll find for them are in Invictus

As i get from discription, this mod touches only Rome, Carthage and some of the italic factions, but doesnt touch greek or diadochi or eastern factions. Am I right?

NoodleKnocker Might do, it's a typical Imperator Rome civil war, so if that happens everywhere else, it'll happen here too. Can't be sure though, but there might be an option to switch? I have no idea
