描述
Configurable modifier to flank critical chances. By default, this mod makes it 100% for all characters. This does NOT mean you will automatically crit on flanks, it means you get a 100% bonus so you can still not crit through smoke for example. I suggest just subbing and forgetting and leaving as is.

-= ADVANCED / CONFIGURABLE =-
You can also use this mod as a Flanking Crit adjustment mod, the value is editable in the INI file. The default game is 33% you could for example change it to 60% to emulate XCOM 1.

For reference, the base game Crit Chance for units is 33% mostly on normal circumstances, and it can be adjusted to 40/45 depending on difficulty.

This is a stat for all characters (Flanking Crit Chance is like Aim or Dodge, just a stat), so it will require a fresh campaign probably for XCOM.

The mod will modify all Enemy Units from all 4 factions. My changes overwrites any base chances but it does NOT remove additional Flank Crit Chance bonuses units may have from Act Bonuses for example (An enemy unit in Act 2 or 3 may have 110% to Flank for example as standard game progression).

-= UNINSTALLATION (WARNING) =-
Once you fire this up and your game is made, you are stuck with the parameters you chose for XCOM. Make your changes BEFORE you start, and then they are permanent. You CANNOT remove this mod once started (well you can, but your campaign is stuck at the chance you picked). Enemies will update on your next fight however if you change anything.

-= KNOWN ISSUE : XC2 SINGLE ROLL SYSTEM (I REALLY DISAGREE WITH FIRAXIS ON THIS) =-
Note that XCOM:CS uses XCOM2's accuracy roll system, which means that a SINGLE ROLL is used to determine the outcome of any shot (Hit, Crit, Dodge). This means that if you have HIGHER CRIT THAN HIT, your successfull attacks will ALWAYS CRIT. This is base game behavior and cannot be changed without major hacking.

-bg- made a mod for XCOM2 if he ever wants to port it it would be great.

At 33% to flank you won't notice it much since you will almost never attempt a low hit shot anyway, but at 50% to hit it's going to start to show. If you put 60% Crit Flank chance, any 60% to hit attack will always crit unless it misses or is dodged. 100% fixes the issue because all hits are Crits anyway, the main problem is when your Crit chance is REALLY HIGH, but not 100%.

Because of this system, I suggest either making the parameter 100% and leave it as is OR to pick something 60% or below. 40-60% sounds like a good value. I will be using 50 or 100% personally.

With modern computers there is NO REASON not to use multiple rolls as a 2020 computer can crunch 40 billion operations a second (or more).

Not compatible with Grobo's Tactical Overhaul Mod, either because
it is integrated into it or fundamentally conflicts with it.

Could you explain better what effects this will have on gameplay, difficulty, etc.? The existing text is rather geeky. :-)

It would be easy to jack the HP of everything. Not too hard.

How hard would it be to make a Beta Strike option? I would have done it myself with .ini edits but I only buffed the Gatekeeper and Sectopod. As Chimera Squad has around three times more enemy classes than XCOM 2.
