Greenway 2020 Revised

You know you're in deep when your asset descriptions have a running joke.

I was hesitant to release a *third* version of my Greenway map, but the popularity of the second version took me by surprise. With it came quite a few requests for a more accessible version without the Mass Transit and/or NAR requirements. Y'all wore me down, here it is.

I made some other small adjustments as well, particularly using the fantastic Ponte Suebia Roads, but it's otherwise very similar to the second version.


* Modeled to resemble a generic rural or suburban American landscape. My inspiration was mostly Eastern Oregon and Idaho, but it can stand in for any verdant river valley in an otherwise dry climate.

* Realistic rail grades and highway routes.

* Improved highway capacity from the original to handle intercity traffic. 4 diamond interchanges included. You'll have to upgrade them if you grow the city with any notable density.

* Redid the dam for a third time.

* A prebuilt downtown grid, which I did for my own convenience. It's easy to remove if you don't like it!

* Back to vanilla rail. I kept it as realistic as I could with the vanilla limitations.


* Screenshots are taken with Daylight Classic, the Bonita Vista Valley LUT, the HDRI Haven Cubemap Pack, Tree Movement Control, Tree LOD Fix, and Sharp Textures. None are mandatory for the map to work.

* I also used Hide It to hide Shore Areas, which keeps all the riverside trees from dying.


As a note for the future, I'll try to release future maps without DLC dependency. I know there have been requests for no-DLC versions my previous maps but honestly I don't think those other maps are worth small updates anymore. Trust me, I have better things on the way!
