For all of you american style city builders, here for you the statue of the most iconic historical figure of the US, there is no need to present George Washington and his impact on the modern history.

This George Washington Statue is located in the yard of the George Washington University, in Washington DC. It's an authorized cast bronze by the Gorham foundry from the original by Jean-Antoine Houdon, which stand at the state capitol in Richmond, Virginia. It was purchased by the GW University in 1932 on the occasion of the GW becentinal. After standing in number of locations on the campus, the statue found its permanent home in the university yard and was dedicated on this spot on september 6, 1991 and its part of the university collection.

The original George Washington is a statue by French sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon from the late 18th century. Based on a life mask and other measurements of George Washington taken by Houdon, it is considered one of the most accurate depictions of the subject. The original sculpture is located in the rotunda of the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond, Virginia, and has been copied extensively.

The original statue by Houdon is made in marble, but this one is made in bronze. The pedestal is made by me and look exactly the same as the original one.
