ENGLISH

During a programm of modernization in the late 70's, FS needed a new kind of shunting locomotive. Thanks to the electronic management that was being developed at that time, it was possible to produce a diesel-electric locomotive with high output power.
The D145 had two IVECO 8297.22 (V12 engines). Electrical part was made by Parizzi for the serie 1000 and TIBB for the serie 2000.
Vehicle's performances allowed it to be used as shunting locomotive in the yards and as a "real" locomotive for freight trains, thanks to the top speed of 100km/h.
Those locomotives are still in service.
All version are also available as asset.

ITALIAN

Alla fine degli anni 70, con il programma di rinnovo del parco rotabile, si rendeva necessaria la realizzazione di nuove macchine da manovra. Grazie all'elettronica di potenza (in fase di sviluppo in quegli anni), fu possibile realizzare una locomotiva diesel elettrica ad alto rendimento.
La D145 montava due motori diesel IVECO 8297.22 ( 12 cilindri a V ). La parte elettrica era realizzata da Elettromeccanica Parizzi nella serie 1000 e Tecnomasio Italiano-Brown-Boveri nella serie 2000.
Le prestazioni del veicolo permettevano servizi di manovra negli scali ferroviari e tradotte in linea, grazie alla velocità massima di 100km/h.
Queste locomotive sono tutte attualmente in servizio.
Nel pacchetto sono disponibili anche le versioni come asset.

There's a mod preview image that's has already an "italy fever" small logo on it... That is the first hint.

There's a description in two languages: english and italian... that's a second hint.
There's an "FS" tag on mod's tag, meaning it's italian's national railway company.

I am not smart enough but, for example, I know that sncf is france, bnsf is one american's company (like amtrak), sncb is belgium, db is germany.
It's just a small portion of culture but yes, this is the confirmation that we (italians) are worth nothing in all the entire globe :D

I'm guessing these are for Europe somewhere, would be great if you could add in the description where each mod is from country wise, not everyone who loves this game will know, like me lol
