Ouvrage de la Ferté - Maginot line

The Ouvrage de la Ferté was a French fort on the Maginot Line. It was the first to be attacked by the german army in 1940. Like most forts of the line it was composed of a number of different strongpoints supporting each other.

The fort was attacked in the summer of 1940 and after heavy shelling it was isolated from French forces. After some fierce fighting, part of the defences of the fort were destroyed and the garisson had to take cover in the underground tunnel connecting the two main strongpoints. When any defense became impossible the commander of the fort asked hq the permission to withdraw which was denied.

The totality of the 107 soldiers guarding the fort slowly died in the tunnel as the toxic fumes from the shelling was making even their gasmask useless. The battle was heavily used by german propaganda to show that the powerful forts of the Maginot line could be taken.

Its a singleplayer mission, German player attacking the French. I wanted to make it a defense mission but Im not a very good scripter.

Hope you will like the map and mission, I tested it but tell me if there are bugs.
