Extinction Event Class Cruiser (The Formic Wars)

Under serious time pressure towards the end of the Formic Wars, the Extinction Event Class Cruisers Cretaceous and Jurassic were hastily constructed at the survivor shipyard. Strapping as many guns and lasers as there was deck plating on the half-scrapped hulls, the crews of these two ships could only hope that they would get a few shots off before a Formic Queen tore a hole in the side of the hull.

It was superbly fun to be able to participate and build these two ships as a part of this community that accepts so many with open arms.

Some Author's Notes;

- Jurassic and Cretaceous are identical
- Originally fitted with only 3 Light Fixed Lasers, and 2 Shield Buster Cannons (removed before filming due to bugs)
- Intentionally designed for atmospheric flight with limited numbers of Ion and Hydrogen thrusters
