3D Skybox Helper

描述
This is an addon for mappers that lets you create/edit a 3D skybox camera ingame and see the changes in realtime. It will automatically calculate the position where you need to place the sky_camera in Hammer for you.

If you're a beginner, this can save you a huge amount of time. If you're not, this still saves you the trouble of recompiling to see if your skybox looks good.

Steps to use (or watch the video):
  1. 3dskyhelper_toggle in the console
  2. Go to any spot in your map where you can see the skybox, and press Left Click
  3. Noclip to where your 3d skybox is and press Right Click
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts to tweak the view until you're satisfied
  5. Copy the sky_camera position in the chat, then in Hammer create a sky_camera at your map's origin (0,0,0) and Transform Move it to the position you got
If the position you got is in the void, you will have to surround your sky_camera in a hollow cube or Hammer will optimize it out.
