Springfield M79 from Payday 2

An American grenade launcher that is similar in design to a break-open shotgun and just as simple and reliable. The idea was to give the infantry an artillery piece more mobile than a mortar. Its bulk limited the soldier to carrying a sidearm for close quarters combat, and attempts to counter that issue led to the creation of the underbarrel grenade launcher. The distinctive report of the gun brought it numerous nicknames such as "Thumper" or "Bloop Tube".


While I thought that the KF2 animations were a bit overused, I was a bit wrong in this case. The only two mods using those were the actual KF2 M79 and Valve's default model (both by Lt. Rocky himself, meaning nobody else actually has used them yet), while Arby's anims are used by at least 5 1/2 different models. Then there's the dilemma on sights being up or down. KF2 and Valve's models have them down, and all the models except Valve's have it up on Arby's. It's hard to try and be original with a cheap straightforward skin mod.
