Gigastructural Engineering LEGACY

Just an update for anyone still using this mod or comming across it,does not work period. There are update gigastructure mods for each new stellaris update(currently 3.6 as im writing this). When i loaded games with this mod when i started grey boxes appear and you cant click them away. Just a warning for future mod users search up gigastructure and whatever the current stellaris version is and there should be a mod for it.

Well have not hear d anything back from author of mod so I guess there is no point in continuing this conversation

the version I once had was from this link https://stellaris.smods.ru/archives/6754 31 Dec, 2020 at 12:26 and it once worked it no longer works if the author wants to look at it and see if he/she can fix it for me to use again the long ago download i had of that one now doesn't work no more don't know why someone on skymods went and disabled it to where it doesn't even start up once game started

this legacy version although works doesn't have all the features of the 2.8 version it has some granted but not all that is why I asked if you could look through my 2.8 version and see what someone on sky mod did to it to make it not even work I like all the full features of t he 2.8 and I don't use any version of stellaris past 2.8 because a lot of the mods that worked fine together are no longer compatible with each other no more which reduces the amount of mods that were un to play with and half the mods that claim they work don't work right

I am saying I have a complete 2.8 version I can put it in the mod load order by itself or with other mods but it wont even bring up the Gigastructural Engineering menu let alone work it is like all the 2.8 version from 2020 on skymods have the same issue someone went through and disabled the mod I did at one time have a working 2.8 version but a hard drive going bad sort of put a wrinkle in having that file no more

Looks like hes saying that this legacy version doesnt have all the things the original mod had at 2.8.

And also at the same time, someone unrelated to this mod (I pressume since my mods are on skymod with no input of my own) went through and also removed teh features from the 2.8 version of the mod.

So hes asking if he can send you his 2.8 version of the mod so you can turn on any missing features from this legacy version.

Idk what features would be missing and I doupt you would intentionally remove features. Defeats the purpose of a legacy version.

And if you can take their 2.8 and fix whatever is missing without disabling any features.

Maybe it was something not added by gigastructure but was instead confused to be by gigastructures by op. Thats just a possibility.

This particular version doesn't have everything added that the version I had that is version 2.8 but since i lost that file and knew where I got it from I went and redownloaded it but it doesn't activate none of the 2.8 activate on the 2.8.1 butler update no more seems like someone delibertely went in and disabled all the fully functional 2.8 version on skymods from 2020 if the author pays attention to this thread anymore if I send you the 2.8 version I have can you re-enable it the legacy version has a lot missing from it and since I hate stellaris past 2.8.1 because no mod I like works right I would appreciate it I just want all the features it should have then a few features and be fore version 2.7 when my version 2.8 was working fine till I had to redownload it and found that all the 2.8 versions to be the same diasbled
