because log comes from tree, stick comes from tree, pole/plank comes from log

...why not make it so processing a pole could give sticks?

Still less sticks than hammering a tree

Handy mod, but can we not solve the stick drop rate in vanilla with a couple of bots?

@Sense_101: Think about it....you're cutting an entire log down into small sticks. However, if you compare the size of the log to the size of the sticks, I'd say you are correct and maybe the mod creator should tone it down to maybe 25 sticks per log but personally, I'm ok with this since the stick drop rate is terrible in the vanilla game anyways
