Durin Class Industrial Station

描述
This is a cut-down and heavily modified version of Tyriosh's Einartoft-Class Industrial Station and this is posted with his permission.

The Durin-Class Industrial Station was a budget industrial station assembled from leftover parts that LogiFab Corp acquired after KUS discontinued the Einartoft Station. This particular station has been patched, gutted, and refitted so many times that the lone Engineer posted there at any given time is usually both horrified and amazed it still works. It gets the job done with it's 6 Refineries, 12 Assemblers, and 9 basic Refineries. It comes outfitted with inventory management system from Isys Corp (Isys Inventory Management). It has a small craft docking bay and two docking adapters for large industrial ships, and a basic array of 4 point-defense turrets to keep away high-velocity debris and weak pirates. The living quarters are basic. The command deck features an open floorplan. It has a basic medbay with a single cryo pod.

Power courtesy of an automated solar panel system and a large nuclear reactor.

It's basic, but it'll get the job done, and it has plenty of nooks and crannies for further modification and personalization.

Now featuring the Isys SimpleDoors(tm) Airlock technology!

Also, I think there are a few lights on the fritz you might want to sort those out.

@Sausage, thank you, with the recent update would like to do another renovation on this station to keep it up to date, but need to get the garden planted so that's taking priority!

@XxwhirlwindxX Keep working at it, all the good designs you've ever seen have been the result of a lot of trial and error and days, months, or weeks of tweaking.

I'm still really new at all this and have scrapped everything I've ever built lol. However, I've been trying to work out how to nicely add a few connectors for more drones and wanted to paint it with some rust color, highlight the hatches for easy identification, and possibly add in some lighting effects. Of course, I suck at all of it lol!

@XxwhirlwindxX Thanks! After I stripped out a lot of the interior walls from Tyriosh's design I never really came up with much to put in there, and I loved the large open floor with the slanted windows on one end (I usually position the station to overlook a planet through that window). I ended up spending a lot more time on the production wing and the exterior cosmetics and just threw in some basic amenities. If you come up with something interesting to do with the space link a screenshot I'd love to see it.

I really like all the open space, allowing for players to tailor it to their own designs! I currently have a slew of Mining drones stripping a field of asteroids of all their precious mimerals :-)

Oh, and stairs from the mouth of the hangar bay to the lower habitation deck. I was tired of jetpacking around to go between the levels.
