You can use Music Mod Helper to use NPCs and synchronize instruments.

You have a rock music group, but you can't play the instruments you have because it's kind of decorations ? You don't want to break it ?
Ok, why not, i have what you need ! You now have a drum, a guitar and a bass ! I mean, you don't care about breaking these.

The intruments of this pack are "vehicles". Place them on you map with the map maker.
Everything has negative HP. Obviously, you can't move with the instruments. Also, gravity doesn't apply on them.

For some reasons you only know one thing to play per instrument.

This pack also adds stage objects: Search for UnisharkStage in the world builder to find them
