Expanded Loading Screen Quotes

描述
Provides an expanded set of historical quotes from and about World War II displayed in a larger box with a more readable font on the game loading screen.

The set currently contains 600 quotes from leaders and documents of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Baltic States, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Soviet Union, Spain, UK, USA, Yugoslavia, and others. Includes 70 quotes from vanilla HOI 4, some edited for accuracy.

LANGUAGE:
- Quotes are provided in English language only, using US English spellings.
- Usage with the game set to any language other than English is not supported.

COMPATIBILITY:
- Compatible with Ironman mode and Achievements.
- Compatible with multiplayer (does not change the checksum).
- Compatible with all HOI 4 versions and patches (launcher warning can be safely ignored).
- Incompatible in theory with any other mod that modifies the loading screen. In practice, YMMV, but such combination is not supported.

EDITOR'S NOTES:
- Abbreviated country or state names are used to indicate nationality or allegiance. The first 3 letters are used, except in a few cases: AUT for Austria, CHN for China, NZE for New Zealand, SAF for South Africa. British Raj is written as IND.
- Some quotes come with an additional note after the attribution, displayed in italic and intended to provide some contextual information.

Hi @Rikai. Thanks for asking. Yes you may reuse the textbox and font.

If you're going to produce a separate mod reusing the same bitmap font from this mod, you should explicitly include the following credit in addition to linking to this mod : Merriweather font by Sorkin Type Co. licensed under the SIL Open Font License .

I'm not the original creator of the Merriweather typeface [sorkintype.com]. I only created a special bitmap font for HOI4 from it.

Hey Mousetick, and thank you for permitting me to use your mod into my work. I will ofcourse credit your mod in my description with link to your mod on the steam workshop. I'm considering adding some quotes maybe in the file but exept for that ii intended to use your mod to make a role play mod (like road to 56 rp beta). @Dr. Gutenbye I meant the 2nd tab to the right the 'Description' tab above, which is the Discussions forum for this mod. Not the 2nd tab at the top which is the general Discussions forum for HOI 4. It's confusing :-)

@Dr. Gutenbye Thanks for asking. I don't see why not, as long as you credit it (e.g. full mod name + linking to this page should be fine). There are other ways to use the mod depending on what you intend to do with it. If you just want to use it as-is without modifications, you can make it a dependency requirement, or part of a collection. Please use the Discussions forum (2nd tab from left above 🠕) if you have further questions/comments.

@Skylord17 you can keep using the mod with 1.10, an update is not needed.
