Ah look, a horde of tribesmen. Better we see the whites of their eyes first then fire only 2 rounds off before getting mauled to death. Longer range accuracy is almost never used for most guns, since they are less than 40 tiles range. This mod will turn your skirmishes into wider field battles, requiring greater zoom-outs.

Rimworld combat is not balanced with 100-tile range combat. This setting is adjustable.

If you have Fog of War installed, I effectively doubled sight range as the short radius of the viewing distance proved to mess up hunting. This places more emphasis on vision angles over vision ranges.

Place below any mods adding ranged weapons.

Base
- Only weapons with long range accuracy defined have range modified
-(This should mean grenades are excluded)
- All ranged weapons of greater than 24.5 but less than 100 range have 100 range (setting adjustable)
- All ranged weapons of less than 24.5 range have 30 range (setting adjustable)

Fog of War
-Default sight range increased from 32 to 65

do weapons still use vanilla range values for accuracy? So for example, medium range accuracy value for hardcoded 25 tiles distance?

Having some issues with the "Don't Shrink Range" option. Does it only apply to long range? Using a mod that adds "ranged" melee weapons (polearms with 1-tile reach) and I don't particularly want them to have 30-tile range, but the alternative is reducing all pistols and shotguns to essentially melee range.

Hi.. Is it possible if you make a version or update options to use range multiplier to existing weapon range or fixed weapon range like the current version ? i think it will be much better balance toward various weapon range..

Most 1.2 and 1.1 mods are cross-compatible, but as i go on future updates it won't be guaranteed
