Wings of the Phoenix, C2M1 - Slim Pickings

Following the destruction of Numantian bridge, your troop has been cut off from the Shimmering Valley. With the former squad leader's death, it now falls on you to lead the surviving members of the team back home. That path has lead you here, to the old and fallow farm lands of the old world. You need to cobble together every scrap of food you can in prepartion for your push through the badlands, or hunger might doom your unit before the infected do.

Slim Pickings is a exploration map based around navigating to several points of interest, concluding with a brief defense objective. Play is expected to take roughly 15-20 minutes depending on how thorough one is.

Note: After the finale is triggered, the map will end in victory after a few days. If you trigger it towards the very end of the day, this might result in the map ending (in victory mind you) just before you've finished clearing the horde. This is mostly a failsafe to ensure the map concludes properly if the horde being killed doesn't register correctly.


This is the first map, of the second chapter of the Wings of the Phoenix campaign.
