Cepheus LX-22 Ravager

The LX-22 is about as simple as a combat ship can get. It's basically just a bunch of guns on a bunch of thrusters, arranged to be somewhat pleasing to the eye. Powered by hydrogen only, it is dirt cheap to build and operate. Only the rockets require uranium, everything else can be built even without a large refinery. With 2 rocket launchers and 2 gatling turrets it has plenty of firepower for its size and while it is obviously quite squishy against rockets, the cockpit is hidden deep inside the ship to pose a more difficult target for gatling fire.

The ship has no subgrids, needs no scripts or DLCs and can easily be built on earth.
It can fly on all planets and needs about 10% hydrogen to get to space from earth.
