Tool Search

The tool search addon made by earthHunter back in 2008, edited by me (Suchipi) to render and function correctly in Garry's Mod 13. Requires Wiremod (because it uses the command toolcpanel to change the context menu to the appropriate tool- if anyone knows of a way to do this without wiremod, let me know and I'll update it to remove that dependency).

Bind a key to tool_search to open the menu. Type in something, then press enter to select the tool at the top of the menu, or click to select any other tool in the results. Press the close button to close the menu.
