What's this do?
This makes the game slightly harder and more immersive.
Stoves now must be researched if you're playing as Lost Tribe scenario, or Renegade Lord scenario if you have Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval installed.
All other scenarios from Vanilla and Vanilla Expanded will have stoves unlocked already.
Only install if you are looking for more challenge and/or immersion (seriously, how do Tribals make big clean metal stoves right away?)

Compatibility
This will very likely be incompatible with anything else that alters the tech for stoves, like Tribal Essentials. May need to research your stoves if you add this mid-save.

XeoNovaDan: made the original StoveTech mod for Rimworld B18 (which can be found here). All true credit goes to him, I only updated it.
Marnador: made the Rimworld font I used in the image above.

I shall only update this once @The Bard of Hearts asks, as tradition goes!

A seperate mod would be fine - better than an option i think.

@andbruu Thanks! One of the choices I find myself deciding over first is between Stoves, or Stew pots from Vanilla Cuisine Expanded.
I was thinking the same about the butcher’s table too, though I wouldn’t want to mess with anyone’s saves just yet by changing the research requirements on it. I may add it as a option for this, or as a separate mod unless it’s something many agree on

I love this small addition, that just makes the early game feel a bit realistic - and gives the campfire a role other than heating. Other than the direct implication, it also presents an additional choice for early science direction - which is always welcome.

Would you consider adding the butchers table as well, as I hardly ever need the butchering spot?
