Sputnik X Packaged

Sputnik X is a small solar-powered ion probe designed for Kerbin system and inner planets. With more than 5500m/s vacuum dV and a relatively high TWR of 0.21 within Kerbin SOI, it can perform frequent orbital maneuvers and even land on & take off from small celestial bodies. It's equipped with 3 repeatable science instruments: thermometer, barometer and GRAVMAX.

Note: Due to its lack of long-range communication capability, it has to operate with relay satellites if used outside of Kerbin system. The Sputnik ball merely serves for aesthetics purpose and can be replaced with stuff like long-range antennas. Action group 4 "extends everything" after deployment.

This packaged version comes with a chemical upper stage providing extra 895m/s vacuum dV.

I'm currently in love with small satellites and probes, there are a few more to come.

Pure stock, no mods, no DLCs. 34 parts, root part is the Dawn ion engine.
