Tripwire, why must you ruin the vibes of the MKb from the original game

A joint partnership between Tacticalloon and myself. First fully automatic weapon, let's goooooo. So, in case you aren't keenly aware, the MKb-42 (H.) was a prototype of the infamous StG-44, or Sturmgewehr, and its designation was known as the Haenel Maschinenkarabiner 1942 essentially, though the weapon concept lingered around 1940-41 allegedly. Unlike the Sturmgewehr, this fired on an open bolt system, and as such, the loading procedure was essentially that of an MP40. There were other MKb variants around, though this one is the more famous of them - featured in games such as the original Killing Floor, the sequel, and Red Orchestra 2. Shoei also makes a very fine reproduction of the rifle as well as a live-fire replica sold somewhere in Europe. The rifle accepts a 7.92x33mm Kurz round, an intermediate rifle cartridge, so it will deal far less damage than any of my other rifles given the fact that, well, this is less dangerous than getting slammed by a one-ounce ball of lead. I read a long time ago, though am unable to verify, that post-war British army reports stated the weapon completely failed to work if dropped only a couple feet, but that won't happen since you cannot drop a gun on this game without a mutator or something.

I probably won't make any other WWII weapons, I did this rifle as it is my favorite firearm of the war aesthetic-wise. I stick to pre-1900 content mainly.
