Bart Gunn

After splitting up with Billy Gunn, Bart Gunn wrestled as a jobber for a short time before teaming up with Bodacious Bob (Holly) in the New Midnight Express. The duo was short live, and Bart went back to being a singles wrestler.

In 1998, Bart was given the opportunity to compete in WWF's shootfighting tournament, the Brawl for All. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams was considered the favorite and the winner of the tournament, presumed to be Williams, was said to be slotted in to begin a feud with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

After defeating Bob Holly in the first round, Bart upset Dr. Death after the latter suffered a torn hamstring. The loss and injury put a major push on hold for Williams, and Bart moved on to defeat The Godfather and Bradshaw to win the tournament.

Despite winning the Brawl for All, Bart was rarely used for several months following the tournament. At WrestleMania XV, he faced Eric "Butterbean" Esch in a real boxing match, only to be knocked out quickly. Bart was released shortly after losing to Butterbean and spent the next several years competing in Japan for AJPW and NJPW.
