FIRE Axe with no skin can be found here:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3020285753
If you want a custom skin, apply one. As long as it's only a skin, it won't mess with the damage or properties of the axe itself. It will simply overwrite the skin on the axe. The skin and the properties of the axe are two different directories.
It basically works like this. Game loads default values of weapons. Mods, whether skin or weapon performance, temporarily overwrite that data. Any additional mods will simply overwrite data previously written in any prior steps.
If you use my axe mod and want, say, someone elses chrome skin, because it's a skin only, the fire axe will load in, my blue flame skin and all, and will then, as long as it's only a skin, load the chrome skin in, overwritting the blue flame skin. Properties (damage, etc.) will remain from my fire axe mod.
Continued...
Mod load order is important in order to keep the select mods from being overwritten. In order for my fire axe mod to avoid loading in the blue flame skin over the chrome skin in the avove example, the chrome skin would have to load after the fire axe mod.
All that being said, I'll see what I can do.
I can understand that uploading stuff to Steam can be a pain, AND I understand not having the game installed would be an issue.
All I'm asking is if you'd be kind enough to make a separate version- as in, a separate upload- so that people can screw around with custom skins. If you don't, I won't force you- I'm not an asshole. I can understand if you prefer not to.
I'd mess with the files myself, but I'm one of those people that doesn't understand how to do it, refuses to learn, and scared of screwing the game up if I mess with the wrong thing.
