Ability Lost Headshots

描述
This mod enables ranged abilities to count as a Lost "Headshot".
When getting a Lost kill with ANY ranged special ability, your soldier will have their action refunded. Examples are kills with Deadeye, explosives, psionic abilities, Fan Fire, flamethrowers, etc. (pretty much anything that is not a standard shot)

Does not include melee abilities or Overwatch, because those abilities have their own mod below. Seperate mods allows you to compartmentalize which abilities you want enabled.

Melee Lost Headshots - adds melee abilities
Overwatch Lost Headshots - adds Overwatch kills

May not work with abilities added by mods. (But you can add them yourself in the INI)

This mod is 100% safe to enable or disable at any time. Compatible with all mods.

In your mod folder, open the folder called 2154872525, then Config, then open whatever INI file it is. DefaultGameData, GameCore or something like that, I don't remember

What's the INI file to edit? I want to give headshot only to, well, actually shooting and remove non-shooting attacks from being Headshot-eligible (explosives, psionics, flamethrowers, etc)

Strange, it was already in there! Yet Chain Shot doesn’t give you Headshot.

Try adding both of these:

ValidHeadshotAbilities=ChainShot
ValidHeadshotAbilities=ChainShot2

I believe ChainShot2 is the 2nd shot that follows the first, it is considered as a different "ability" than the first shot.

I tried with Chain Shot, but it doesn’t work with that ability, for some reason. Should I add it to the config?

No probs. I know the hassle of cross-linking similar mods. I just found it funny because it seemed like a recurring theme here (I read the comments below).

Protip: If you right click the screen in Steam browser and select "Copy Page URL" you can quickly get a link to whatever page you're viewing. Take care :)

The link to Overwatch Lost Headshots is to the Portuguese (?) version of Steam.
I was surprised by "Suscrito" :P

This would make it consistent with the other links:
