Elytron-class Corvette

This is a survival-friendly Corvette.

It is armed solely with 8 gatling turrets. The ship is designed so that all combat systems enter combat at the same time in order to maximise effectiveness. As a result, the front of the corvette is heavily armoured, and has a protective glass elytron (hence the name) in addition to regular armour. There are also two decoy blocks on hinges to draw fire away from the weapons.

This corvette is exceedingly fast and manoeuvrable since it re-uses the thruster block design from my Frigates but has a third of the mass.

There are two aft docking ports each designed to carry an Underscore-class Combat Dropship (pictured), but could hold any small ship.

For survival, it is pressurised with 2 automatically drained airlocks, and has gravity. All systems are plumbed together.

This blueprint has registry MTC-008 Prefixed on all systems to differentiate between it and docked ships on the terminal screen.
