描述
Vacant lots, piles of garbage and old mattresses, shopping carts, bars and plywood covering windows, broken street lights, abandoned vehicles and old tires. Some of the best food, nightlife, and music venues in town.

Adds gritty flavor to your inner city.

Props have been added to some low density residential buildings, mostly level 1, a few level 2 and a few level 3. Other low density residential, commercial, office and industrial buildings have been added, along with service buildings and some unique buildings. Some residential level 1 lots will spawn as "vacant lots" which act as homes for Cims even though they have no structure (just fences, trees and slum props).

See the collection for subscribing to all necessary assets. Mostly High Density Assets. If you want a "slummy" small town see the Style and Collection: Bad Side of Town

I made this so long ago, I cannot remember all of the assets I included. You can click the Collection linked above ("Slums" in bold white with 179 items) and scroll through looking at the assets to see. I do think these are very small buildings, like 1x4 and 2x4 size, not 4x4 size. The game prefers to spawn 4x4s and corner assets whenever possible, so if you just paint an area of zoning it may not spawn anything if this District Style is assigned and there are no 4x4 assets. Try zoning smaller, isolated strips, first, then fill in the gaps with prop assets (like yard spaces) or zone new building places after something grows in the first space you zoned. Hope that makes sense!

It's not clear from the description, does this change high-density areas at all? It doesn't seem to do anything to those on my end.

Just under the title (below the pictures it says District Style: City Slums) there is a gray line that says "IN 1 COLLECTION BY M4GIC" and below that in bold white it says "Slums"

Click "Slums" then on the next page click Subscribe to All and wait until it finishes, then launch the game.

Screenshot? I suspect you are just seeing the lower level "vacant lots" that will level-up0 and change into buildings. But if there is truly frozen construction animation it is a glitch in your game and nothing to do with this Style.
