I've improved this rather drastically as of late, trying to make it closer match the actual instance it was based on.

Heh, a little extra stamina drain wouldn't be a bad idea. I'd probably reserve self-spirit damage for the REALLY bad botches that can't be written off as "I really just wanted to drop him on his head."

Does it take a ton of self breathing? I forget - there's one stat you can't inflict self damage for... if anything it would take a little of both guys Spirit. Like "man, we messed that up, and one of us almost died."
