This is a Class 2 Level 10 Starter base for 1.11+

This is a really great base that hasn’t been updated in awhile. The fantastic classic Far Point Outpost was created by Jeff Randall. It has been overhauled and maxed out at Tier 2 as a starter base for continued use in Experimental 1.9+ forward. The Far Point Outpost XII is concrete enforced and ready for shield and teleporter.

More planets require more of a variety of bases to keep things interesting. This is a simple, cheap, small, starter base that can grow with you as your needs expand. Alpha 12, with full galaxy expansion, leaves you with many more planets to explore. Do you want to use the same bases on all those planets? I prefer a variety of small modular bases to use as needed.

I just use a small base, that I can teleport to, in order to finish clearing off the planet and repair my SV or HV as I go on about my business collecting ores from autominers or whatever.

TIPS: If you don’t require an advanced constructor, remove it and place a teleporter or shield generator and pentaxid tank if desired and still remain under T2. If you do, don’t forget to assign the teleporter to the already provided teleporter sensor on your “p” menu to save power when you don't need the teleporter.
