Helix Complex for Version 1.X Extended

The Helix Complex is a Planetary modified version of jrandalls Helix Orbital Station and it's made to resemble a military airforce hangar complex for use on flat or mountanes terrain.

Planetary / Mountain Base. (Class 6 Tier 4 Version 1.X BA)

Primary roles: Survival Base, Farm, Crafting, Fleet Port, Unlocks at level 20


The Helix Complex is a mid to end game base with a ton of room and features. I modified it to be used on the surface It has 6 decks in total including 3 subterranean basement levels with 1 central elevator. This version of the base has a 3rd spare empty Hangar/Landing module for if you happen to invite new members to your faction or you own alot of ships

Primary Features:

Hangars
It has 3 hangar/landing pad modules, A B and C. If 1 or all are placed on a mountains edge they feature struts that will suspend at a height making for a great view below. Hangars A and C also feature a deluxe hangar side crafting area as well as a T2 repair bay on Landing Pad A and switches to shut down the constructors and repair bay to save on power.

Farm
It features 108 grow plot farm divided in 4 sections each with it's own grow light switch. Leave off when not in use to save power. From this Deck It also leads to landing pads A B and C.

Offensive/Defense
The Complex is made from only regular steel but has equiped a T2 Polarised Shield so it can take on a full wave of drones and troop attacks and has 1 Rocket, 4 plasma + 3 Pulse turrets mounted on the roof to deal with them. Also Sentry guns inside and dotted around the perimeter incase of zirax hacking the core.

Crew Quarters
Deck 1 and basement level 1 are a place for the crew or visitors. It featues a small lounge, beds, bathrooms, atm and a Teleporter pad making reaching your CV in orbit a breeze

Engineering area
The basement area of the complex features a vertical engineering section containg offline protection, land claim, generators, 4 x T4 CPU Extenders and the pentaxid tank for the shields

Central Hub/Med Bay/Shield
The center of the station is an open area connecting all modules. It has the med bay installed and a ceiling mount area containg the fuel and o2 tanks. This area also houses the buildings Advanced T2 Shield.

8. Full Med bay, T2 Repair Bay, Crew quarters, Teleporter
9. 4 T1 Generators, 20 Fuel tanks+ 9 small solar panels for emergency power
10. Sensor based lighting in entire complex

Notes:

This base must be placed submerged in ground with all struts touching or it will colapse. When placing be sure to align to the bottom of the entrance door. Drilling the basement levels takes less than 5 mins as the rooms are not too big

AND I ADDED 4 x 160K CONTAINER CONTROLLERS FOR CRAFTING
+ 2 x 70K AMMO CONTAINERS FOR THE HEAVIER WEAPONRY
