So I came across a "vector" version of this scene and thought it would provide a novel experience to work with as a wallpaper. I was half-right. It was actually a mottled black background with scattered watermarks, so I had to murder the image using the color key tool before starting (added a contrast enhance to try to get some of the colour back, felt indifferent about it, so I made it a user option). Other than that though, it WAS a fun and different way to approach making a wallpaper.
I don't get to do a lot big, macro, energetic, kinetic movement, so it was a lot of fun designing a wallpaper whose whole point is throwing this beloved character all across the scene.
Struggling to find a way to sequence movements with this software. Attempts to toss Mako left THEN right, result in tossing her left AND right. Staggering the speeds helps somewhat, but still results in Left-then-right-then-Left-and-Right situation, that complicates compoundingly when new tosses are added.
Currently Mako can be tossed around automatically or by Parallax, both options can be toggled.
In the future, maybe some music, maybe an option to pick the background.
