MAJOR UPDATE!

I'm happy to finally give a well deserved update for everyone who enjoyed this mod in the past. The lore is being worked with and the map sketch is finished. You can find more info on Reddit or Imgur[imgur.com]. Enjoy!

This mod is currently halted, but back in development

Working on this mod and other mods of my own as well as playing a supporting role in bigger mods such as End of a New Beginning and yet to help on Road to 56 is no easy task, but i can't let these mods die as so many of you have moments of joy when playing them. I have created a Patreon account in order to help improving my modding skills and keeping up the modding tasks with college and a job. The projects i've worked with are now, for sure, outdated, but are in schedule to be completely reworked, as i'm trying to turn the modding from a hobby to a serious work as a duty to the HOI4 and general Paradox gaming community.

Hello, guys. Presenting to you the first Kaiju mod for Hearts of Iron IV. This mod, as you may see, isn't a total conversion nor an overhaul mod, but a scenario. In it, the game has been reworked to play as the story is built, with few additions to the vanilla game overall.

This mod is set in an alternate 1936, where the secret organization Monarch lead up a mission of time travelling supported by an unknown race called "the Futurians" in order to keep Titan knowledge before any of the Kaiju could rise and attack Human Civilization. When a mutated version of the Alpha Titan, Godzilla, appears in the shores of Japan, planning and predictions of Monarch are rapidly frustrated. Expecting Godzilla to awake only in 1954, the King of the Monsters responds to the disturbances of the Mutant version of himself, now known as "Shin Godzilla" and prepares to hunt down this threat and protect the Earth. In the same time, an alien race known as the "the Vortaak" comes to Earth to fight Shin Godzilla, as it's mutations could be a threat not only to Earth, but to the universe as a whole. Also wanting to harvest G-Cells from Godzilla and the Titans as well as conquering the planet for their galactic Empire, the Vortaak engage a War with both the Humans and Kaiju, using a Monster Army of their own to do it. Alone in this battlefield, Monarch decide to try saving humanity with their knowledge in the middle of the factions striving to create a new Global Order.

The mod adds 4 new nations that work as factions (as well as a secret one):
- Monarch (Serving as humanity)
- Godzilla (Fighting to restore the natural order)
- Shin Godzilla (Rising to exterminate all life in the planet)
- Vortaak aliens (Attempting to conquer the Earth)

The mod also adds more than a hundred events and decisions to add up flavor during playthrough. All 4 factions have a special focus tree, with powerfull buffs in their respective campaigns and goals. Units are added to represent the Kaiju, leaving to the player to decide: who will be the true King of the Monsters?

Will the PPDC become its own seperate thing and get control of canon PPDC bases around the pacific? and how will the jaegers work? will they be able to fight in the sea or just on land?
