Here's a rough draft I made. This would obviously be a land only. I could add 6 water factions which would make the map 18 players, I'm not sure how many water factions there are though.

As you wish, i typicaly play large maps (12+) but i might be far from representative in dominions community, (haven't even played MP yet, even if it seems interesting, just need to find the time :) ), and water nations can spice maps up i think, as it offers varity (and you can just not sstart with them if you don't wan't)

Any map with a maze-like layout (or maybe more like a labirnth as mazes have only one way) .. so teritories linked with many chokepoints and a different kind of strategic thinking

What sort of maze do you have in mind?

good idea for multi player,
do you think a labirinth / maze-like map would be doable, interesting for single player?
