"The First Aspuk-Zavoa war started when Zavoan troops of the first army moved to the border, in violation of treaties at the time. During negotiations for their removal, the Aspuklani, springily didn’t move their own armies to the borders. This choice would turn sour for them on the sixth of Ritna, 721 K.R.T. when the Zavoan foreign Minister, Merka Sozal, handed over a declaration of war to Aspuklan. The Zavoans pushed forward into Aspuklan, but the Aspuklani army soon held the line. The Zavoans, had captured many radio stations along the border, allowing them to send out commands to the armies faster than ever before. These stations were the main targets of Aspuklani attacks. The first main engagement of the war was at Yekiers Hill Radio Station."
