Dans La Mer Du Son

Play through the eyes of normal high school students in 2020 living with their parents, while secretly working part-time as grey-hat hackers. As they maneuver through online lectures, ace online exams and literally just trying to survive online high school classes, they come across an old server containing mysterious documents to a recent hacker forum. Curious, they dive deep, and find the Eden forums, in Beta state. There, they find hacker groups like them who do missions and hack other fellow hackers just like they do, and in completing tasks, they get monetary benefits in return. Unfortunately, greater enemies befall them.

Witness a three-perspective story in an extension that doesn’t prioritize email nor IRC missions and one that focuses more on the individuality of each protagonist and how they overcame the shadows of their past selves.

Note:
This extension contains a lot of reading -- that's not an exaggeration. If you're more inclined in gameplay-oriented extensions, this extension is not for you. I mean it.
The title translates to "In the Sea of Sound", from French.

This extension only has the prologue and half of the first chapter available. It is also created for Hackerjam 2, and requires Labyrinths to play.

This extension contains theme animations that can both lag and crash Hacknet -- sometimes a relaunch of the game is required.

If you have epilepsy, refrain from playing immediately.

For maximum performance, turn off multisampling, scanlines, bloom and visualizer.

Otherwise, thank you for playing this extension, albeit unfinished. I will finish it when I have the time.
