Introduction
Let’s start this guide with a word of caution: Getting 100% Steam achievements in Outcast 1.1 is doable, but somewhat difficult, because 8 out of the 172 have issues and need special routes and tricks to unlock them.

After a stall of nearly 8 years, in early 2023 the gamer alegiassi came forward with new methods and solutions to these year long struggles. Big shoutout to him for making it possible to finally obtain all 172! He deserves a lot of gratitude!

The original guide was written by Ishavet in 2020 and updated in 2023 by Planet Adelpha.
Ishavet did a playthrough in May/June 2020 and wrote down a few of the things that he noticed about the achievements, including possible bugs and inconsistencies as well as some tips on how to get the vast majority of them. Planet Adelpha did a complete new playthrough in 2023 confirming it is indeed possible to obtain all 172 using special methods.

The in-game quest completion counter is only tangentially related to the achievements.

Lastly, please note that this guide is intended to be more of a compass to help you in your achievement hunt. The notes below are not spoiler-free, nor are they supposed to replace a thorough walkthrough that shows you how to complete all of the quests in the game (although, it does provide hints for many of the optional quests as well as how to obtain the non-story/non-quest achievements, should you need help with that). If you need more guidance for completing the game, you can refer to the 1999 guide by Jeff "CJayC" Veasey on GameFAQs (Link[gamefaqs.gamespot.com]) or, if you read German, the guide over at Planet Adelpha (Link[planet-adelpha.de]).
Summary of achievement issues in Outcast 1.1
The main issues encountered with achievements in Outcast 1.1 can be summarized as follows:
  • The vast majority of achievements work, but many of them may trigger only (but usually immediately) after reloading a savegame. It may also be necessary to quit the game completely before reloading a save, because for whatever reason, the game sometimes still “remembers” actions that you did after the save, if you do not restart the game. These kinds of “belated” achievements could also sometimes be triggered by traveling through a Daoka (portal) without quitting the game.
  • Some achievements triggered some time after completing the required tasks, but more or less randomly or at a point in the game that seemed to be at odds with the achievement description (not to mention the color-coding of the achievement icons). In any case, these achievements are not broken in the strict sense, just don't be surprised if they don't trigger right away for you.
  • Due to a bug, both the "Main quests!" and "Okasankaar quests" achievements can only be obtained if you do NOT catch the thief in Okasankaar - which itself is actually just a secondary quest - until the very end of the game. It is also highly advised to do the Mon in Okasankaar last and do all the other regions beforehand. You can do some things there like visiting Oru for the Oru & Kyuran questline or stopping Sankaar delivery, but you should not finish this region early on and definitely not do the thief quest! (The Okasankaar thief quest itself is also bugged and its achievement can only be obtained by handing the thief over after catching him instead of letting him go; this at least can be done by simply reloading a save and completing the quest both ways - more instructions on that in the relevant section of the guide below.)
  • 3 achievements that are related to story events in the game are bugged and can only be obtained by using an older Steam version of Outcast 1.1 (namely, the April 5th 2015 build - see detailed instructions below on how to do that.)
  • 3 region-completion achievements are bugged and can only be unlocked by using a patched Oc1.1.exe - again, see detailed instructions below.)
Achievements requiring an older game version
The following eight achievements cannot be easily obtained by simply playing the latest Steam version of the game. Thankfully, alegiassi found a way to get them all regardless! These achievements can be divided into two groups. Five of them are "%-completion achievements" and three are "quest-event-achievements" which should unlock after a specific event took place.

Marion "may" be there.
Marion "may" be there.
Go to Okriana. Marion may be there.
Triggers after you talk to Shamaz Zokrace about Marion. (can only be obtained in April 5th 2015 version)
Always in trouble, she is...
Always in trouble, she is...
Marion is trapped in a place that's got a large pyramid.
Triggers after the cutscene in which you free Marion in Talanzaar. (can only be obtained in April 5th 2015 version)
I'll do my best.
I'll do my best.
Find the Essence Stone for Zeo.
Triggers after you give the second essence stone to Zeo. (can only be obtained in the April 5th 2015 version - in the newest game version instead of this one, you get the “I think I kinda understood that” achievement)

These three achievements cannot be obtained in the current (newest) build of the game. The only way to get them is to play an older version of the game where they still work. To do this you need the April 5th 2015 build. Here is an in-depth guide how to do that: How to Download Older Versions of a Steam Game

Quick guide:
1. Open the Steam console by copy pasting this code into your browser's URL: steam://nav/console
2. Press enter. A launch application should pop up. Select the Steam client and open the link.
3. This will open the Steam console in your Steam client.
4. Type into the console: download_depot 336610 336611 2194734777874970592
5. Press enter to download the Outcast 1.1 April 5th 2015 build.
6. Wait for Steam to download the depot. You won't see any indication of progress, but it works in the background.
7. After the download is done, Steam will show you where the files were downloaded to.
8. Go to the original game's installation directory, and move the files somewhere else. Then go to where the depot files were downloaded to, and move everything over to the game folder.
9. You should now be able to launch the old version through Steam! (Game updates will make a mess, so make a copy of the files so you don't have to download them again)
10. Now launch the older version of Outcast 1.1. and you can easily get those three event achievements!

Important note: You should not use the older build for anything else than getting those three as this older build has other quest-related bugs, that were already fixed in the newest version of the game. You can transfer savegames between versions, but it comes with the risk of breaking other quests.

Recommended way:
1. Play the game with the newest build from the beginning and get the Shamazaar Mon, but don't give Zeo the second essence stone and don't go to Talanzaar. Create a savegame.
2. Swap the builds and load the older version of the game from April 5th 2015.
3. Load the savegame and aquire the three achievements.
4. Swap the builds once again to the newest version and continue your old savegame from before to get all the other achievements.

Side note: Step 3 (=getting the three achievements with the 2015 version of the game) can be done in about 30 minutes if you skip all of the dialogue (press E).

Talanzaar's subquests.
Talanzaar's subquests.
Complete 100% of the subquests of Talanzaar.
Triggers after finishing all sub missions in the region. The order of quests is not important, but you need to finish all of them. (only works with the fan-made fixed Oc1.1.exe)
Shamazaar's quests
Shamazaar's quests.
Complete the main quests of Shamazaar.
Triggers after finishing all main missions in the region. Usually triggers after saving Marion behind the barrier. (only works with the fan-made fixed Oc1.1.exe)
Okaar's quests
Okaar's quests
Complete the main quests of Okaar.
Triggers after finishing all main missions in the region. Happens at the end of the game when you escape from the barracks where the Guardians were imprisonned. (only works with the fan-made fixed Oc1.1.exe)
Okasankaar's quests
Okasankaar's quests
Complete the main quests of Okansankaar [sic].
Triggers after finishing all main missions in the region. (is bugged by the thief quest, see detailed instructions below)
Main quests!
Main quests!
Complete 100% of the main quests.
Triggers after finishing the game and all missions. Should unlock after defeating Kroax. (is blocked by an error caused by the thief quest in Okasankaar)

Fixing the OC1.1exe:
For three of these five it is obligatory to patch the game with a fan-made .exe
Why is that neccessary? Long story short: there is a small calculating error in the way points are counted in the game resulting in an over 100% completion score in three of the regions (Okaar mainquest, Shamazaar mainquest and Talanzaar subquest). The game can only trigger achievements if you reach exactly 100% whis is impossible in the game. The patched .exe does only change a minor formula and the way how the points add up. So you reach exactly 100% and can get the achivements.
Note: We don't consider this as cheating, as it does not alter your gameplay in any way and does not change anything than adding up those numbers correctly. You still have to do all the quests in a legit way! But keep in mind this is ultimately an un-official modification to the game.

The fixed .exe was made by alegiassi and can be downloaded on german Fansite Planet Adelpha: (Link[planet-adelpha.de] Simply copy it to your Outcast 1.1. folder and replace the existing OC1.1.exe with the fixed version.

Note: If you already have an existing savegame where you completed all quests in one of these regions you can simply load the savegame and the achievements should trigger. You don't have to re-start.

Okasankaar and Main Mission
Those two do actually already work without the .exe patch, but there is one major bug. As we mentioned many times before the thief quest in Okasankaar is broken and should be done at the last moment in the game.

What's wrong? If you catch the thief, protect his identitiy and then do the following two subquests (giving Zafar the money and then go with Zidar for the treasure) the game will re-set the thief quest as not done and you will end up missing this one main mission as completed. This results in both Okasankaar and Main Mission not completing, as you have one missed quest. There is some unknown error in the code which happens when you do these two following subquests...

How to solve the problem:
1. Play the game and do not catch the thief in Okasankaar early (now I said it a million times!).
2. Best is to do Okasankaar last and the other 3 Mons before it.
3. Defeat Kroax at the Darosham before you do the main quests in Okasankaar (fixing-boat light and Oru/Kyuran subquests can be done and don't cause issues).
4. Then get the Mon in Okasankaar (do all quests except the thief).
5. Best way to do this (but not mandatory) is you already did every single other mainquest and every single subquest in the other regions at this point.
5. Now create a savegame and keep it.
6. Now catch the thief, protect him and do the following two subquests (this should trigger your 100% subquests achievement)
7. Re-load the savegame and this time you don't protect the thief and tell him you will turn him in. Don't talk to Zafar and don't go for the treasure. Head directly for Okaar and do the game's finale and you will get the 100% main mission achievement (while subquests will be at 95% in the end screen).

Note: Either at step 6 or 7 the Okasankaar achievement will trigger. The Main mission achievement will only trigger if you didn't do the two subquests as written above (and did everything else in the game of course).
Main achievement guide
The following sections show how to get all of the 166 achievements that are obtainable in the current Steam version of Outcast 1.1. None of the achievements below are broken as such, but may show some abnormal "unlocking" behavior as noted in the annotation column.

Once again as a reminder: 2 of those achievements, namely the "Main quests!" and "Okasankaar quests" achievements, can only be obtained by doing the secondary "Thief" quest in Okasankaar at the last possible moment towards the end of the game (refer to section "Achievements requiring special methods" above for more info).

Hey, Doc!
Find and speak to Shamaz Zeb.
Story-related.
So you're the engineers here, aren't you?
Talk to recreators.
Technically optional/missable if you never talk to the recreators. The description uses the plural, but I got this one after only talking to the first recreator you can meet in Shamazaar. This triggered after reloading a save.
Mediiiic!
Find a Shamaz to heal Ilott.
Story-related.
So the Riss counters know, huh?
Talk to riss counters to know more about Essence Idols.
Story-related. This one triggered for me after talking to the southern one of the two riss counters who are located west of the central (Fae) temple.
Is he a dealer or what?
Find Logar who may know where to get magwa.
Story-related.
I bet he'll get high on this!
Bring magwa to help Shamaz Mazum.
Story-related.
Boom!!!
Use dynamite on chest.
Story-related.
Here you go
Bring the stone tablet for Shamaz Mazum.
Story-related.
Tell me, plz!
Find and stop Naarn. He may know about the Mon.
Story-related. This may be missable if you do not talk to Naarn immediately after he stumbles out of the daoka in the Fae temple.
So, that's the Mon?
Find the first Mon in Shamazaar.
Story-related.
North barrier down!
The barrier to the nord of Shamazaar is now down!
Story-related. This triggered for me when I found Marion again after retrieving the second Mon.
I think I kinda understood that.
Find the Essence Stone to stop riss production.
Optional and part of the “stop Riss production” quest in Shamazaar. This achievement triggered for me after I gave the correct Essence Stone to Zeb (it would have made more sense to get the “I’ll do my best” achievement here)
That, I like!
Remove more soldiers from Shamazaar for Maar.
Optional and part of the “stop Riss production” quest in Shamazaar. All of the four “remove more soldiers” quests in the different regions seem to trigger automatically after you have killed a certain amount of soldiers in that region, irrespective of whether or not you actually received this quest first. When I got this achievement (after reloading a save, no less) I hadn’t talked to Maar about killing more soldiers yet, I had not even given him any of the Essence Stones yet.
Please take care of... this.
Deliver twon-ha to Zolass.
Optional. Get a gui from Zalinass and lead a Twon-Ha to Zolass.
Nice hiding spots.
Find sticks marking off secret stashes of goods in the mud around Shamazaar.
Optional. Zolass tells you about these stashes, but apparently you can get this achievement at any time while exploring Shamaazar.
Hot-dog, who wants my hot-dog?
Kill the gamors that are far east of the village.
Optional. This event triggered for me after reloading a save early on in Shamazaar. (A farmer tells you about an agitated Zalinass.)
I always knew I'd become a miner someday...
A worker at a temple wants the Yods to clear debris with some dynamite.
Optional, however, you have to clear the debris on the Ka temple anyway in order to advance the main quest as well.
Doesn’t sound like a Gorgor!
Kill the beast on the water behind the tempe Ka
Optional. This quest is given to you by Bozz near the Ka temple. I eventually got the achievement later at some random point after reloading a save, together with the one below.
Boat Blast
Destroy the 4 boats in Shamazaar to weaken Soldiers!
Optional. Again, I could not immediately get this achievement after completion, but only later after reloading a save together with the one above.
Rip Brother!
Tell Illot that Naarn is dead.
Optional. Did not get this immediately after talking to Illot, but after reloading a save.
Okay, I'll tell him, I'll tell him!
I found Ezef, he wants me to tell Yagu he's still looking for their father.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest in Talanzaar. That’s also where you will find Yagu.

Well, I can’t repair it!
Repair Heza well.
Optional. After talking to Heza and Zade (who is near the well) use the LN-DUO and aim at the well. This achievement triggered only after I reloaded a save.
The large box.
A large box is loose. Try and stop it for Mogad.
Optional. To stop the box from swinging you can use the HK-P12 and fire at it every time it’s moving towards you.
Breaking pots!
Break Tezu’s pots to get zorkins!
Optional. Got this by talking to Tezu, but I don’t know how many pots you have to actually destroy (by that time I had destroyed about a dozen or so, probably more)
Singing? I can't sing! And I don't want to!
I met a beggar near the well who wants me to sing some mining song with him..
Optional. You can learn the song from the Miners in Motazaar or just “get lucky”:
Milea Ko…
Lepta Mae…
Labta Ulukai…
Kata Mea…
And me? Can I get a reward too?
Zele wants me to return a reward to Gizo.
Optional. This triggers after you return from Zele in Okasankaar and talk to Gizo again.
Da stolen necklace
Azirad had a necklace stolen. He lost the thief somewhere in the construction supply bok.
Optional. The necklace (called “crafted material” in-game) can be found in the small alleys near the daoka to Motazaar.
Enhance my weapons? I like where this is going.
Azirad thinks he can enhance any of my energy weapons.
Optional. For this to trigger just talk to Azirad about the HAWK weapon after you bought it from a merchant in the city.
Azirad! I got it!
Go to Okriana with the new piece of helidium and see Azirad.
Optional. After you get the helidium piece in Okasankaar (see that section for more info), give it to Azirad. (You need to give him a second helidium piece from Motazaar as well to fully upgrade the HAWK and get the upgrade achievement for that weapon). Added note: For some reason upgrading the HAWK for the first time also counts towards the "Main quests!" achievement.
What a strange... Talan...
Nikaa wants a loan of some zorkins.
Optional. Give Nikaa the 500 zorkins and this should pop up.
Drugged lampe: Done!
Bring 5 lampe and 1 daguerach to Zagu to make a drugged lampe.
Optional. You get the lampe from Zoss in Talanzaar and the daguerach from Oru’s island in Okasankaar. Bring both to Zagu.
Would you like another drink?
Drunk the soldiers with transformed lampe!
Optional. Triggered as soon as I gave the drugged lampe to Shadi.
Let's find that relic then.
Balazar wants me to find a relic outside the walls of Okriana.
Optional. The relic can be found outside the Southern city walls.
Wait, what?!
Now Balazar wants me to clean this relic while fighting an achondar in Okaar.
Optional. For completing the quest and getting the achievement it suffices to simply use the flamethrower as a cleaning tool here. You do not have to go to the achondar in Okaar (despite the color-code).
Sometimes, I feel like I'm not rewarded enough.
Mored wants me to bring him 10 hoti from Okaar.
Optional. The icon is color-coded for Okaar, but the achievement actually triggered for me after I gave Mored the 10 hoti in Talanzaar (as you would expect).
Four of them? Okay.
Jokace thinks four zeedog glands would help him.
Optional. The icon is color-coded for Okasankaar where you have to go to get the four glands. The achievement popped up for me in Talanzaar though (as you would expect).

Don't break it!
Zakk wants to study the metal on the HK-P12. I should return for it soon.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest in Talanzaar.
An Oogoobar knife? Seems legit.
Ominel wants an Oogoobar knife to lower his meat price for Heza.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest in Talanzaar. The icon is color-coded for Okaar where you have to go to get the knife. The achievement popped up for me in Talanzaar though (as you would expect).
How am I gonna explain this...
Ezef was reverted, Yagu's not going to like this.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest in Talanzaar. In my playthrough Cutter literally told Yagu that his brother was alive and well (as he was when I met him). Not sure why the achievement says otherwise. Also, this triggered in Talanzaar, not - as the color-code seems to imply - in Shamazaar.
Zoss’s lampe!
Buy lampe to Zoss!
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest. This one triggered after a reload. (This was after all merchants had lowered their prices on my playthrough.)
And what if I like fights? Why should I interrupt them?
Zot says Zoss and Heza's fight is disturbing other Talan.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest. Got this one after talking to Heza once all the merchants had lowered their prices.
Well, I'll have to do something about that.
There are too many soldiers in Okriana for Zot to agree to stop paying taxes.
Optional and part of the “stop paying taxes” quest. Again, this feels like it should only trigger after completing all the preceding steps of the quest. For me it triggered seemingly at random after a reload.
Zakk, I need a handle... Fast!
Maybe Zakk will be able to make a handle. Find him.
Optional and part of a secondary quest in Motazaar. (See the Motazaar section below.)
Talanzaar's quests.
Complete the main quests of Talanzaar.
Some people report this as bugged. But I got it at the very end of the game when you have to go back to Talanzaar for the final showdown (in fact, it was the last achievement I got on my normal playthrough).

Story-related.
Makee, make it fast!
Don't leave Makee until he's fixed the bridge and protect him from any soldiers.
Story-related. This one and the one below triggered at the same time after killing all of the attacking soldiers, although I was only protecting Zoran to fix the bridge. Makee wasn’t even at the bridge on my playthrough.
Don't die on me, bro!
Don't leave Zoran until he's fixed the bridge and protect him from any soldiers.
Story-related. See above.
And now, the key!
Don't forget to find the high soldiers and get their key, they should be at the camp next to the rift entrance.
Story-related.

Free Shamaz Keb who knows about Mon.
Story-related.
Motazaar's quests.
Complete the main quests of Motazaar.
Story-related.
Yeah yeah, whatever you want!
Need large piece of helidium from Motazaar to fix boat light for Zernar.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. Got this when obtaining the helidium in Motazaar despite the color-coding.
Two faenea, two!
Zine wants me to bring him two faenea to heal his friend.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. (This is more of an extension to that quest, but if you do not do it, you cannot advance that quest either.)
Pure piece of Helidium? I like that!
Head to the north mine to find a pure piece of helidium.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. This triggered along with the one below.
Rock Crush it!
Carve the helium for the boat light.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. Got this one after picking up the helidium from the rock crusher.
Less soldiers means easier times.
Ashkar wants more soldiers removed from Motazaar.
Optional and part of the “stop mining” quest in Motazaar. Once more, this one triggered too early, before I had even talked to Ashkar about killing soldiers. I suppose it’s really just enough to kill a certain amount of soldiers in every region, regardless of whether or not you have talked about this quest with anyone. I got this while raiding a soldier camp actually.
Why would you want it back? Ah, whatever...
A water merchant, Mobarr, wants his twon-ha back.
Optional. Lead the twon-ha back to Mobarr using hoti that you can find in Okaar. (Completing this quest this way also counts towards the “Taking care of your Twon_Ha” achievement.)
Poor guy...
I caught that food thief but I didn't catch his name, I think I'll let him slip on this one.
Optional. You get this quest from Ashkar. The color-code seems to imply some link to Talanzaar, which I could not find.
Hey, be careful with that, okay?
Bring three pieces of dynamite to Zogard.
Optional. Added note: For some reason doing this optional quest of destroying the mine also counts towards the "Main quests!" achievement.
Let's free the trapped guy.
Some Talan is trapped in the east mine.
Optional. Triggered together with the one below.
Let's free Zogard! Oh wait...
Go to Okriana and get a lift handle to free Zogard!
Optional. This triggered for me at the exact same time as the one above. Reads like it should trigger in Okriana/Talanzaar though. (Also, why would there be two achievements for the same event?)
Let's free Zogard! For good, this time.
Take the lift handle to the east mine.
Optional.

Story-related. I got this one together with the one above after talking to Kyuran, not when actually receiving the map.
I really want this to be over!
Free the Guardians that were taken to Okaar.
Story-related. Got this one after the last story event in the game, i.e. after the cutscene with Marion but before the finale.)
Fly, you fool!
Keep the soldiers busy so Marion can sneak the others out. Meet her outside when all soldiers are gone.
Story-related. Got this one after the last long cutscene on Okaar.
Here you go, Kyuran.
Give the message from Oru to Kyuran.
Optional and reported as missable. Best make sure to get this achievement by doing the secondary quest with Oru in Okasankaar before going on the Gorgor hunt with him. This quest requires some running back and forth between Oru in Okasankaar and Kyuran in Okaar.
I hope it'll be some disco tune!
Zave thinks the marks are music notes.
Optional. I got this one after talking to the musician Shadi in Talanzaar (so, never mind the color-coding). For some annoying reason, I lost the “Shamaz Map” from my inventory after giving it to Shadi, even though he said, “here take your map” and gave it back to Cutter. I reloaded a couple of times and tried again with the same result. I was eventually able to keep the map by moving away from Shadi as soon as the animation of Cutter putting the map back into his backpack had ended.
Arena’s Gamors
Find and kill Okaar’s Gamors
Optional. Got this one after reloading a save.
Kill this damn blind beast!
Find and fight the Achondar.
Optional. In order to kill the achondar, aim an explosive with the LN-DUO far away from you and behind the beast. As soon as the achondar moves into that direction hit its head from behind with the HAWK.

Story-related. Got this one after completing the quest and returning to Cyana.
Let's go to the Darothing then!
Kroax is at the Darosham.
Story-related. Got this by defeating Kroax at the Darosham during the third story event.
Okasankaar's quests
Okasankaar's quests
Complete the main quests of Okansankaar [sic].
Triggers after finishing all main missions in the region. Added note: This one is bugged by the thief quest in this region, but can still be unlocked in the latest version, see detailed instructions in the section "Achievements requiring special methods.")
Okasankaar (Optional Quests)
Icon
Achievement
Description
Notes
Yeah yeah, sure...
Zafar wants me to watch his stand and stop anyone who takes from it when he is not there.
Optional and probably missable, because this achievement and the one below seem to be mutually exclusive. This triggered for me after talking to Zafar after I caught the thief but did *not* hand him over to Zafar (instead paying the zorkins that the thief Yilia stole myself). Added note: As mentioned in the guide above, you should only do this quest after completing most of the game's main missions, because not only is this quest somehow linked to the "Main quests!" and "Okasankaar quests" achievement counters, it will also break the progress on both.
Thief caught!
Catch Yilia who stole some workings to Zafar!
Optional and easily missable. Many players have reported this as bugged, but it’s still obtainable. In order to get this, you have to catch the thief *and hand him over* to Zafar. This should pop up after talking to Zafar. However, it’s bugged, so after talking to Zafar, I did a save, quit the game, restarted it, reloaded the save, and sure enough, the achievement popped up. If you want to max out the secondary quests, you should not continue from this save though, because you need Yilia for getting the quest below (and supposedly that achievement as well). Added note: If you are, for some reason, only missing this achievement and don't plan on doing another full playthrough, you can actually rush to Okasankaar right after finishing the tutorial in Ranzaar. Simply ignore all soldiers and use the Daoka south of the village in Shamazaar and then the right-side Daoka in Talanzaar which leads you to Okasankaar. You can run outside of the city walls in order to avoid most patrols there. However, you still have to kill the soldiers in Cyana before being able to start this quest.
I love treasure hunts!
Find out the secret stash of treasure in the water.
Optional and easily missable. You can only get this if you didn’t give the thief (Yilia) away to Zafar. Yilia tells you about the stash next time you talk to him in Cyana. The achievement triggered for me after I asked the boatsman Zidar to take me there (so, no need to actually go to the stash itself.).
Yet another crate to open!
Destroy Egar crate to get Zorkins!
Optional. You can get the related quest after recovering Oru’s weapon from the sunken temple. Find Egar in Cyana and he will tell you about the crate. (The crate had actually been there before I talked to Egar, so maybe you can still get the achievement without ever talking to him.)
Don't worry, he's fine.
Tell Zidar his friend at the Darosham is ok.
Optional and easily missable. After getting this quest from Zidar, you should go to the Darosham *immediately*. If you do not intervene, Zidar’s friend will get killed there. Added note: For some reason this achievement counts towards the "Main quests!" achievement.
Darosham Free!
Kill Soldier's company near the Darosham!.
Optional. I assume that this achievement is linked to the quest above. Triggered for me after a reload though.
It doesn’t smell good!
Sell some Zort to Zele!
Optional. Triggered for me after going through a random daoka once I had completed the quest.
Anyone want a Gorgor tooth?
Give the gorgor tooth to Martigar.
Optional. You can find the Gorgor tooth in the Darosham. Just pick it up and give it to Martigar when you find him in Zoraktraz.
Not sure to be there for that!
Tell Oru that he owes Kyuran a bottle of lampe.
Optional and easily missable. You have to do this quest before you go on the story-related Gorgor hunt with Oru. (Despite the color-coding, this triggered in Okasankaar for me.)
Easier said than done...
Gizo would like me to find the Talan in Okasankaar that this bracelet belongs to.
Optional and part of a secondary quest in Talanzaar, where you can find Gizo. The color-code seems to imply some link to Shamazaar, which I could not find.
Finally, let there be light!
Azirad has created a new boat light.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. Despite of what the description and the color-coding may suggest, this achievement triggered for me after I put the new light into the lighthouse in Cyana, not when Azirad did anything in Talanzaar.
That's not a problem, my friend. That's a solution for my blood lust!
Zernar says there are too many soldiers around for his liking.
Optional and part of the “stop fishing” quest in Okasankaar. Again, this feels like it should only trigger after completing all of the preceding steps of the quest. For me it triggered much earlier and seemingly at random after a reload.

She just can't get into enough trouble, can she?!
Marion is in a house to the west of the Palace Fae.
Story event (1). Got this one after the first cutscene with Marion in Talanzaar, after finding the first Mon.
Ah come on, can't she just defend herself?
Marion is in trouble... again.
Story event (2). Got this one after the second cutscene with Marion in northern Shamazaar, where the barrier used to be.
I'm the only one capable here.
Jan and some other Guardians have been captured and taken to the Darosham in Okasankaar.
Story event (3). Got this one in Okasankaar after talking to Jan in the Darosham.
uh?oh, that's bad!
The Guardian camp is under attack.
Story event (4). Got this one in Ranzaar after talking to Jan towards the end of the game.
And he's gone, For good!
Take out the soldiers first, then finish Kroax.
Got this one after the final fight with Kroax and the final Xue cutscene.
Weak soldiers, I like!
Convince region leaders to stop producing supplies.
The plural in the description seems to imply that you have to do more than one (or all) of the supply quests in order to get this. For me, this triggered after having convinced only Maar in Shamazaar to stop riss production (and talking to him about it one more time).
Secondary quests!
Complete 100% of the secondary quests.
Because I did Okaar last, I got this after clearing the waterfall in Okaar. As mentioned above, I got this achievement but not the “Talanzaar subquests” one, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Main quests!
Main quests!
Complete 100% of the main quests.
Triggers after finishing the game and all missions. Should unlock after defeating Kroax. Added Note: This one is bugged by the thief quest in Okasankaar, but can still be unlocked in the latest version, see detailed instructions in the section "Achievements requiring special methods.")
Money, items & weapons
Now, here is some good news. While most of the achievements that are not related to story progression or quests are *technically* missable, none of them seem to be broken. Also, if you intend to do all the main and subquests anyway, you should have no trouble getting all of the achievements listed below naturally. On my playthrough I only had to do a little farming for collecting 30.000 zorkins and swimming over 5 kilometers.

Also note that any amount of money or resources spent is subtracted from the amount that you want to get for the achievement, so it will take longer if you keep spending. (This isn't really a problem since resources - as well as most kinds of enemies - in the game re-spawn.)

Do what you love and the money will follow.
Collect 30.000 zorkins.
Working towards this achievement will also get you “Money Money Money…” (2.500 zorkins) and “Money makes everything easier!” (15.000 zorkins). The easiest way to farm zorkins is by going to Okaar and collecting as many hoti as possible. They can be sold for 80 zorkins per hoti to Balazar in Talanzaar and they re-spawn constantly even after reloading a save in Okaar (although you may have to quit the game first).
Metal Collector!
Collect 250 Metals.
You can find metal near mountains.
Red Helidum Collector!
Collect 100 Red Helidiums.
A lot of red helidium can be found in the center of Talanzaar in front of the temple.
Shell Collector!
Collect 100 Shells.
You can find shells in water.
Hypochondriac!
Collect 100 Medikit!
Actually triggers at 25. Medikits can be found in many places all over Adelpha, especially in buildings.
Explosive backpack!
Fill your backpack with 50 dynamites!
Dynamite can be found in many places all over Adelpha but often in or near enemy soldier camps.
Can't want to use this!
Get over 300 ammo for your HK-P12!
Got this as early as beginning of Shamazaar when raiding the house with the locked door near Shamaz Zeb.
Feeding my UZA-SH1!
Fill your backpack with over 250 ammo for your UZA-SH1.
By the time I got this weapon I had 740 ammo. The achievement automatically triggered after I obtained the weapon.
Invincible!
Get all the weapons.
All weapons you need for this achievement can be bought from merchants in Talanzaar.
HK-P12 upgraded!
Get the maximum HK-P12's upgrade level.
Both upgrades can be bought from merchants in Talanzaar.
UZA-SH1 upgraded!
Get the maximum UZA-SH1's upgrade level.
Both upgrades can be bought from merchants in Talanzaar.
HAWK-MK8 upgraded!
Get the maximum HAWK-MK8's upgrade level.
The only weapon whose upgrades can not be bought. Instead you need to do two different quests for which you obtain special helidium crystals and bring those to Azirad in Talanzaar who will craft the upgrades for you (see Talanzaar and Motazaar sections). Added note: For some reason upgrading the HAWK for the first time also counts towards the "Main quests!" achievement.
LN-DUO 500 upgraded!
Get the maximum LN-DUO 500's upgrade level.
Both upgrades can be bought from merchants in Talanzaar.
FT 74-X upgraded!
Get the maximum FT 74-X's upgrade level.
Both upgrades can be bought from merchants in Talanzaar.
Pyrotechnician beginner!
Create an explosive blast chain reaction with exactly 5 dynamites!
Just put five packs of dynamite on the ground in a row (without accidentally picking them up again) and shot the last one. Watch the fireworks.
Explosive expert!
Create an explosive blast chain reaction with 10 or more dynamites.
See above, but make it ten.

Marathon Man!
Run over 20 kilometers!
You will get this, don’t worry.
The Gate way!
Travel 10 times through Daokas.
Any daoka seems to be fine, even if used repeatedly.
Twon-Ha rider!
Ride your Twon-Ha over 10 kilometers!
Doesn’t have to be the same twon-ha if you have more than one.
Like a fish in the water!
Swim over 5 kilometers!
I found this one to be most easily done in Okaar. Just swim the full length of the central river/lake once in both directions for about 1 km. Repeat if necessary.
Feeling good!
Get healed 5 times by a Shamaz!
Any Shamaz will do.
These guys are so helpful!
Locate 20 unique Talans by asking citizens.
Even counts when asking for the same individual.
Mr Talkative!
Initiate 250 conversations with Talans.
You will get this, don’t worry.
Building a good reputation!
Get the highest reputation!
Got this without ever leaving Shamazaar. Just do all the secondary quests. This actually triggered for me during a firefight with soldiers near the Fae Temple. (A farmer near the northern border saw me kill enemy soldiers, I guess.)
Bad boy!
Get the lowest possible reputation!
You should get this naturally if you go for the “Psycho” achievement in one sitting (see the combats & kills section below).
Build your social network!
Talk to 25 important talans.
You will get this, don’t worry.
Thanks for the reward!
Get rewarded 20 times for your side quests.
You will get this eventually by doing secondary quests. Just be sure to always talk to the people again after completing their quests.
Taking care of your Twon_Ha.
Give 20 hoti to your Twon-Ha
Doesn’t have to be the same twon-ha. Doesn’t even have to be *your* twon-ha, so this can be (partly) achieved in conjunction with a secondary quest in Motazaar (see "Why would you want it back? Ah, whatever…” in the Motazaar section).
So much friends now!
Talk to 45 Adelpha's unique VIP.
You will get this eventually when going for a complete playthrough  There are more than 45 VIPs in the game, but not a lot more.
Can you make these?
Let recreators make ammo for each one of your weapons.
The same recreator will do.
What the f* they're doing!
In Talanzaar, use EVD XRay mode over 1 minute to observe Talan's life cycles.
This was another weird one. I tried this quite a few times and at different points in the game and in different areas of Talanzaar. I finally ended up getting this achievement by EVD-locking on on one of the violet merchants for a minute or so. The achievement popped up after I left the EVD mode.
Voyeurism!
Use EVD and lock target on Nikaa over 20 secondes.
Nikaa is in Talanzaar. Popped up after like 2 seconds - not that I am complaining.
Looking through walls!
Lock EVD on a Soldier during over 15 secondes!
Self-explanatory. Got this in Shamazaar.
The trading King!
Find and trade with every merchants.
There are nine violet merchants in Talanzaar. You don’t have to actually trade with them. Just click on “buy object” and the achievement progress bar will trigger. The most difficult part here may be finding all of them because some of them tend to move around a lot. But they are each confined to a certain bok.

May the Yods be Silent!
Kill 250 Soldiers.
Going for this one will also give you “I'm not even warmed up!” (25 soldiers), “Bloodbath!” (75) and “The Yods will remember!” (150)
Knights of Okriana!
Kill 10 Soldiers while riding a Twon-Ha.
Can be combined with the one above.
Okay, now I am arachnophobic.
Kill 75 Krakits.
Going for this one will also give you “I just don't like them.” (10) and “They're everywhere!” (25).
Beware of Dogs!
Kill 10 gamors!
You will get this one eventually by doing secondary quests in different regions of Adelpha, since Gamors apparently do not re-spawn.
No bullet wasted!
Shoot 30 times in a row using HK-P12 without missing any target (while aiming Soldiers only).
Just try to get close to the soldiers you want to shoot. Don’t forget to heal if necessary.
Itchy trigger finger!
Reach 150 times your targets using UZA-SH1 (Tracer gun)
Luckily this doesn’t have to be 150 times without missing. So you will just naturally get it by using your UZA-SH1.
The Invisible Pyrotechnician!
Use PPS (Invisibility) to drop a dynamite near Soldiers and make it explode!
There are many good spots for this, like the riss storage houses on Shamazaar or soldier barracks in other regions of Adelpha.
Supremacy!
Kill 10 soldiers by using dynamites!
Can partly be achieved by going for the one above.
Survival!
In Talanzaar, evade Soldier patrols 3 times just by hiding, without using your weapons.
Just sneak around in Talanzaar. Got this one when looking for the Shamaz there without even going for it.
Psycho!
Kill over 25 civilians (watch out your reputation!)
This will also get you “Citizen erased!” (kill 10). Going for this achievement in one go will most likely also get you the “Bad Boy” achievement (see the “movement & interactions” section above).
Mad cow disease...
Kill 3 Twon-Ha (don't do this near Zalinass...).
Self-explanatory.

@Ishavet The guide works pretty well, I just have no idea what can be missing...Someone would mind to share a savegame close to the final with all the main quests done? I did already a lot of playthroughs and even with the patched .exe it won't add up to more than 98.6%.
If someone has a source how many % each main mission gives, this would be also helpful. But a working savegame would be great, too.
Thanks a lot guys
Ishavet  [作者] 5 月 8 日 上午 5:46
It's only possible because it's bugged, unfortunately. I was missing that achievement myself for the longest time and had to do a complete new playthrough using the tips and the fixed .exe mentioned in the guide. But then it worked for me. If you really did it exactly as stated, I am not sure why it didn't work in your case. :(
Bo_Mad 5 月 4 日 下午 2:07
Did everything as described above, the only thing that doesn't trigger is the main mission achievment. I snitched on the Okasankaar Thief (turned him in), didn't talk to Zafar afterwards and headed to Okkar for the finale. By the end of the game, when defeated Kroax I am only at 98,4%.
How is this possible, since the othzer main missons are not missable?
Ishavet  [作者] 4 月 7 日 上午 4:44
I personally have never used achievement tracker websites, so I do not have first-hand experience. But after reading the information linked by you, I agree that using the fanmade .exe from this guide is against their rules, simply because the file is *not* from the original developer but an unofficial fix. As far as I am aware, the original developers were not reachable anymore or otherwise unable to push this fix as an official patch.
frozengriever 4 月 6 日 下午 6:58
Is the modified .exe method going to trigger cheating flags on achievement tracker websites? It seems to contravene this rule on unofficial changes to game code: https://achievementhunting.com/rules#na-3
kassiomtavares 2024 年 10 月 10 日 下午 8:11
100% for me aswell, guide still working and updated!

I just had some trouble with the achiev "Don't worry, he's fine." (which is missable) because I went to Okasankaar only after the 3rd Mon.
The point is that there is two quests that take place on the Darosham and they can not happen at the same time.
At first, I couldn't find the guards and prisioners for the achievment, so after some trial and error i ended up figuring out that I can do the "story event of the third Mon" first and this achievment later.

And, most important, for this achiev, I need to speak to both the shamaz and Zidar.
Talk to the Shamaz first (which will give you the notepad line), and only then talk to Zidar to start the "story" and the "countdown" to save his friend.
Only after talking to Zidar the guards and the prisioners will appear.

So, if Zidar is not talking to you about his friend, finish the event of the 3rd Mon first, talk to the shamaz and then go back to him to start the quest to save his friend.
Ishavet  [作者] 2024 年 5 月 9 日 下午 3:39
Fantastic, congrats to 100%! :)
And yes, the achievement triggers remain somewhat erratic. For some reason traveling through a Daoka can have the same effect as reloading a save game (don't ask me why).
woran.m 2024 年 5 月 9 日 下午 2:31
Managed to get all achievents thanks to this guide!
I would like to note that for me, Thief caught! achievement didnt trigger after turning Ylia in with Zafar, then saving, then reloading, like the guide said. (I did try that)
It triggered for me when I caught Ylia, but then went on my merry way and went trough the doaka to Motaar to finish the game.
Ishavet  [作者] 2024 年 3 月 2 日 上午 7:35
Thanks for the feedback. I did not know that you could not talk to Kyuran about Oru after the Gorgor hunt anymore. So there is no option to mention Oru's message to Kyuran? (We did mention in the guide that you absolutely have to tell Oru about owing Kyuran a bottle of lampe before the hunt, but that is for the achievement "Not sure to be there for that!"). In any case, I will update the guide to include your information.
Reb Militia 2024 年 2 月 28 日 下午 8:28
Should put a note somewhere that "Here you go, Kyuran." is easily missed...I didn't realize I had to talk to Oru about Kyuran, then go back to Okaar, then go back to Oru again and go on the Gorgor hunt to get this. Ugh...now I'm too far to load an older save.
