Absolutely outstanding and magical journey, with a top notch soundtrack. I still can't believe they were able to pull off something like that with 1999 hardware.

Back when I was a kid I only played it a bit, and boy am I glad I decided to pick it up again years later.

That being said, I'd advise to save regularly, and keep copies of your saved games. Outcast is prone to bug out sometimes, so your mileage may vary - I fortunately only stumbled upon a single semi softlock, which I was able to escape fairly easily. With the game of such scope and ambition, packed with many optional quests to do, I can definitely let it slide.
