Ricky Ortiz signed with WWE in 2006 after a professional football career that included stops in the CFL and AFL along with a few NFL training camps.

Ortiz debuted on the ECW brand in 2008 and immediately went on a short winning streak. He kept up his winning wats for a few months before dropping a match against Jack Swagger towards the end of the year. After the following WrestleMania, Ortiz was drafted to Smackdown, but he was released after only a few months on the blue brand.

Ortiz wrestled on the indy scene for a few years after leaving WWE, but has not been in the ring since 2013.
