This mod adds new Enhanced and Masterclass weapon category upgrades and research so that it doesn't fall behind on the tech curve compared to other weapons.

At the moment, this mod adds the following Enhanced and Mastercrafted research and upgrade for these weapon categories:
  • Sniper Rifles (Quiet).
  • Gauntlets (Zephyr).

This should work on an ongoing campaign but if you aren't seeing the research right away, try doing another research if possible.

I'm not so sure about adding a sniper rifle to the game. This game is more about close quarters combat rather intermediate range battles like in XCOM. In XCOM the maps are tactically big. This game, the maps are smaller.

Well no but actually yes. Quiet is the only agent that uses Sniper Rifles (for now at least)

Oh that's a localization bug on my end. I'll go ahead and fix it real quick.

When starting the game, I selected this mod and then loaded a previously saved game. The previous save did not use any mods.

Assembly page, Enhanced Gauntlets selected, Rewards are listed as:
* New Supply item: Error!
EnhancedGauntletsUpgrade has no FriendlyName!

I haven't tried selecting it...
